WHEN YOU PURCHASE:

If you choose GALA, the best way is to contact the official representative (Importer) of  GALA in your country first. You can find all this information here in CONTACTS . All of them are experienced and well-known professionals, which can provide you the right recommendations about the type of boat, its dimensions, characteristics, features etc., and to inform you about the availability of products and the contacts of the nearest GALA dealers.

IMPORTANT!!! Sales conditions, prices, completeness, boats shape of same model may vary by country due to the differences of local regulations, traditions and other details. The authorized Dealer or Distributor will always provide the latest & up-to-date information.

You will obtain the written Limited GALA Warranty Policy from your Dealer. Currently there is no warranty registration procedure. The factory warranty will be automatically activated from the moment you purchased your boat from the Dealer. You must keep the original Bill of Sale at all times as a proof of your boat warranty activation. In case you buy a “ready-to-go” boat with installed engine – do not forget to keep the engine warranty confirmation as well.
We highly recommend to GALA owners to review and familiarize themselves with all policy details, to be aware of the warranty coverage and procedures.
The GALA Limited Warranty Policy is available from any official GALA Dealer upon request.

Once the boat is delivered to you, there are some easy but important things to do after you have received your boat:
•   Check to ensure boat transportation packing is not damaged. In the case there is any damage we kindly suggest to document it with pictures – this will assist in an claims if there is damage to the boat.
•   Open the package. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOAT PACKAGE WITH ANY SHARP TOOLS (KNIFE, SCISSORS ETC.) – YOU CAN EASILY DAMAGE THE INFLATABLE TUBE, AS IT’S VERY CLOSE TO THE PACKAGE SKIN

 •   Unfold the boat on a clean, flat surface, take the User’s Manual and CHECK IF THERE ARE ANY PARTS MISSING. In the case you of missing parts, contact your Dealer immediately.
•  Read and understand the User’s Manual.
•  Assemble the boat and inflate it, following User’s Manual instructions.
•  Check the hull of the boat for any damages and inflatable tube for airtightness. If there are any issues, contact your Dealer immediately. If everything checks out – we wish you the best with your new boat!!!
Your boat registration is a very important step. If you are in USA, please check that with your local authorities as the regulations may vary for different states.
If you are in Canada, any pleasure craft that is equipped, even temporarily, with one or more engines whose total power is at least 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) or more, must have a Pleasure Craft Licence before it can be operated unless it is registered in the Canadian Register of Vessels.
For information directly from Transport Canada, see the two links below:

  1. Applying for Pleasure Craft Licence
  2. General Information on Pleasure Craft Licence

To apply for a Pleasure Craft Licence (PCL), prepare the following documents:

  1. A copy of your Driver’s License,
  2. A copy of the Bill of Sale,
  3. One photo of the side view of the boat.

To proceed, go to the Transport Canada website application portal by following the link ( https://www.pcl-pep.snbservices.ca/1001/PubWeb/Default.aspx?lang=en-CA ), or navigating there via the Transport Canada website and:

  1. Fill out the application as prompted.
  2. Submit this online.
  3. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a temporary pleasure craft licence that will allow you to use your craft immediately. This temporary licence is valid for 90 days and must be kept onboard at all times. This number will later be finalized. Once this application is formally accepted, you will be issued a permanent pleasure craft licence document by email. This document will include the pleasure craft licence number which must be marked on either side of your craft and should be kept on board at all times.

Your license number must then be applied at the bow of the boat on both sides; 3 inches minimum height for the letters in a contrasting colour.

Do not forget to mail all of the documents to Transport Canada, following their instructions for this.

It is recommended that you take a Boating Safety Course, especially if you are a beginner.

Also please make sure that you have Pleasure Craft Operator Card if you are a Canadian boater.
